Tall buildings in the UK have particular security issues that need to be factored into their design.
Some of these security issues are due to such buildings containing retail, leisure and residential areas that need to be accessible to the public.
Particular hazards include a terrorist bomb detonated from inside the building and the dispersal of CBRN hazards through air conditioning systems.
