Instinct, now backed up by studies and OA, confirms that Loitering Munitions will fill a genuine gap in capability. The concept, first tabled at about the turn of the century, is now becoming a reality. The idea has generated debate, but it is time for that debate to hot up and for the British Army and the Gunners in particular to grasp this revolutionary capability with relish to ensure that our deployed troops are provided with precise, enduring, guaranteed and appropriate firepower as soon as industry can deliver.
