Jonathon Band is the UK’s First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff. He commanded the aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious during UN, and later NATO, operations in Bosnia,and was Commander-in-Chief FLEET and Commander Allied Maritime Component Command during the Iraq campaign. He talked to Bill Kincaid on 14 November 2006.
