Richard Dannatt recently took over as the Chief of the General Staff in the UK MoD. Prior to that he was Commander-in-Chief of the UK’s Land Command.
Previously, he was Commander British Forces in Kosovo, Deputy Commander of the Stabilisation Force (SFOR) in Bosnia and commanded NATO’s Allied Rapid Reaction Force (ARRC) from 2002 to 2005.
He talked to Bill Kincaid on 21 April 2006.
