The RUSI Acquisition Focus

The RUSI Acquisition Focus was formed in March 2006 to provide an expert objective view on aspects of defence equipment acquisition.

Its first paper, which examined the UK’s Defence Industrial Strategy, was published in the Summer edition of RUSI Defence Systems.

Lord Drayson and Bill Jeffrey, Permanent Under-Secretary at the MoD responded to the issues raised at the focus.

Its second paper, looks at factors affecting the implementation of the Strategy.
