In the current climate of economic uncertainty, the amount of money being spent by militaries across Europe is receiving a justifiable level of scrutiny, with questions being raised over sustainability, affordability and priorities. Of critical importance is whether military budgets are growing fast enough to meet the many demands being placed upon European armed forces.
