'The Politics of Fear' No More: Barack Obama's World View

By Michael Williams
20 Jun 2008

An Obama presidency could represent the best chance the US has had in decades to change perceptions about its global role, though reservations about the candidate's inexperience persist. These reservations may yet prove unfounded. While the extent of this transformation may not meet the high expectations of Europe and elsewhere, it would nevertheless be a refreshing and timely change.
