US-EU Differences in Nuclear Non-Proliferation

Both the US and EU agree on the substance of the threat from nuclear proliferation. However, there is divergence in the preferred means for ensuring non-proliferation. The supposed divide between EU multilateralism and US unilateralism is more myth than reality, and further it is the latter's efforts in preventing proliferation that have been most successful.
