Professor Trevor Taylor

Position: Professorial Research Fellow in Defence Management


Professor Trevor Taylor is the Professorial Research Fellow in Defence Management, augmenting the Institute's work on United Kingdom Defence Policy as well as giving particular high level expertise in defence management issues. In particular, he analyses contemporary issues of defence equipment procurement, drawing upon existing work in RUSI's Military Sciences Department.

Professor Taylor comes to RUSI from Cranfield University where he was head of the Department of Defence Management and Security Analysis and subsequently head of the Centre for Defence Management and Leadership. Professor Taylor previously served as Chairman of the British International Studies Association and head of the International Security Programme at Chatham House.
