Standard Individual Membership
As an Individual Member of RUSI you will benefit from the highest quality analysis on the key issues in defence and international security. Individual Members receive the RUSI Journal and Defence Systems as part of their membership, as well as full online access to these publications and archive items. Additional RUSI publications and periodicals may be added to this membership to suit individual member requirements. This category also offers invitations to all complimentary Members' events and lectures and access to the Military History Library in Whitehall.

Joining Fee A one-off administration fee (including the issuing of your membership card) is payable upon becoming a RUSI member. If you choose to join online via www.rusi.org the fee is only £25 (£50 by post), but by choosing to sign a direct debit instruction, your joining fee will be waived.

Platinum Individual Membership
The new Platinum Individual Membership package, created for 2009, offers extensive benefits and the opportunity for greater interaction between RUSI and its most valued individual members.
As an Individual Platinum Member you will receive all of the RUSI’s publications (including full online access), as well as invitations to exclusive closed meetings with RUSI’s senior research staff twice a year. Offering insights and free discussion on current defence and security issues, the privileged meetings will also provide all Platinum Individual Members with unique networking opportunities.
As an additional benefit, Platinum Individual Members will be eligible to apply for Fellow of RUSI (FRUSI) status. As a ‘FRUSI’ you will occupy an eminent position within the defence and security community, be contacted by the Institute on a consultative basis and entitled to use the FRUSI letters within your title.
All Platinum Members will also receive invitations to complimentary Members’ events as well as access to the RUSI Military History Library in Whitehall.
