The Future Maritime Operations Conference 2010 - The Royal Navy’s Contribution to Future British Defence and Security

Land Warfare Conference 2010

Organised with the full support of the British Army and in partnership with AUSA, this conference created a forum for the leading practitioners and thinkers in the land forces community, represented at the very highest levels, and set the course of the debate for the 12 months following the start of the Defence Review and the General Election.  The conference considered the role of land forces and defence as a whole as an instrument of national influence and debated how the Army must transform to meet the demands placed upon it in a complex global environment.  For the first time, the conference was accompanied by an open-air land systems exhibition, showcasing the latest technological advancements from industry.
