About the event:

His Excellency Mr Robert Holmes Tuttle

Lecture by His Excellency, Mr Robert Holmes Tuttle, US Ambassador to the Court of St James's.

We have recently celebrated 50 years of the Treaty of Rome and 60 years of the Marshall Plan. Those celebrations should also remind us that the enduring legacy of those wartime experiences is not just a sense of shared history but our ability to unite on a range of urgent issues around the world.

The US-UK relationship remains unique; not just for its common culture and language, or even our economic strength and success, but for the duty of responsibility we recognize and share. Ambassador Tuttle will examine the role the special relationship can play in current affairs today.

A fee of £6 is payable for the sandwich lunch which will be served from 1215.
