About the event:
A lecture by Dr Imre Szekeres, Minister of Defence, Republic of Hungary.
Dr Szekeres will discuss the challenges facing the NATO Alliance in the 21st Century. In his address, he will advocate a stronger Alliance based on more robust transatlantic co-operation between Europe and North America, focusing on the following areas:
• NATO / EU co-operation;
• How to revitalise NATO / Russia relations;
• The stabilisation of Afghanistan;
• Establishing enduring regional stability in the Balkans.
An optional £10 sandwich lunch shall be available from 1215.
