RUSI will host Sir Ian Andrews, Second Permanent Undersecretary of the MoD, and John Ashton, UK Foreign Secretary’s Special Representative for Climate Change, for a discussion of MoD and FCO policy development on the security implications of climate change. This discussion will reflect on the national security strategy’s treatment of the issue, explore some of the challenges of creating a ‘whole-of-government’ response, and examine how climate security sits alongside other global instabilities.
This event is open to RUSI members only.
Following the presentation RUSI members will be able take part in a question and answer session.
