About the event:

Presentation by Peter Riddell, Chief Political Commentator of The Times.

This meeting will incorporate discussion on:

• The impact of 24 hour news, satellites and the internet shaping public opinion and influencing expectations;
• The instant reporting of casualties and impact on opinion at home, looking at the Falklands conflict, first Gulf war, Bosnia and operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A sandwich lunch will be served from 1215.
