The British government has made Africa the centrepiece of its international development policy. The government, and the private sector, have invested in numerous initiatives to simultaneously raise global awareness about the multiplicity of challenges facing the continent; and to find ways of addressing the problems. RUSI, which has committed itself to researching on Africa, as well as providing a forum for informed debate on the challenges and opportunities there, is hosting Mr Andrew Mitchell MP, Shadow Secretary of State for International Development
Refreshements will be served from 9:30 am
