NATO in RIGA

This conference was organised ahead of the Alliance’s Riga Summit. It was addressed by NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and the former Spanish President José María Aznar.

This event was supported by Allied Command Transformation and NATO HQ and will also include an address by current ISAF Commander, Lieutenant General David Richards, CBE, DSO.

Against the background of NATO’s expanding operational activities the Conference examined the Alliance’s transformation efforts seeked to identify priorities for NATO at the Riga Summit, and for the years ahead.
