The Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies would like to invite you to attend a Military History Circle on the subject of ‘Craufurd's Missadventure: The Action at Villar de Puerco, July 1810' by Dr Malcolm Llewellyn-Jones MBE, Naval Historical Branch, Ministry of Defence.
Dr Malcolm Llewellyn-Jones MBE retired eight years ago from the Royal Navy after 26 years' service, mainly in the Fleet Air Arm. He was involved in the analysis of helicopter anti-submarine tactics and his flying career culminated in command of a front line naval air squadron, followed by six years in the Ministry of Defence sponsoring the requirement and operational analysis studies for the Merlin anti-submarine helicopter.
Having gained an MA in war studies in 1997, he recently graduated from King's College,
