


Position: Head, Land Operations and Capabilities Programme
Within the Military Sciences Department Olivier runs a research programme that supports the development of land forces and contributes to the debate about the way in which they are recruited, trained, structured and equipped. He also has an interest in those Joint capabilities that support the land campaign.
His research produces objective analysis of key elements of current operations (focusing on Afghanistan) and the capabilities, conceptual underpinnings and operating precepts of land forces. Current research interests include:
