Bjoern Seibert

Position: Associate Fellow

Bjoern Seibert is a visiting fellow at the International Security Studies Department at RUSI, and a research fellow at the Security Studies Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is also an external research associate at the Strategic Studies Institute (SSI) of the US Army War College. His research focuses on European military capabilities, the European Security and Defence Policy, NATO-EU relations, and European military transformation. He is currently working on an assessment of the European Union's mission in Chad and CAR (EUFOR Tchad/RCA).

Previously, he worked as an analyst at the Foreign and Defense Policy Studies Program at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research (AEI) in Washington, DC and as a research assistant at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, MA.

Bjoern has a Masters Degree in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He also studied at Georgetown University and Erfurt University.
