Tim Williams is a Policy Advisor at the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC) on Aerospace Defence and Homeland Security, working with senior industrialists on defence industrial policy and security market issues. Prior to joining SBAC, Tim was Head of the European Security Programme at RUSI, specialising in EU defence initiatives, NATO policy and operations and missile defence. He previously worked for the Conservative Party, focusing on NATO and European security matters.

Tim has lectured widely on European defence issues, including at the NATO School and to groups from the US Air War College and the Norwegian National Defence College. He has contributed to a variety of publications and media outlets including Newsnight, Sky News, BBC Breakfast News and The World at One.
